MIDSHORE MOTHERS' CENTER, INC.
Mothers Helping Mothers
Childcare Policies
  • Provide a safe, stimulating environment for babies, toddlers, and
    pre-school children.

  • Provide a quality childcare program, not just a babysitting service

  • There are always two workers in each room.  Infant room is for
children age 3 months to 18 months. The toddler room is for children
age 18 months to 3 years.  The pre-school room is for children 3
    years and older.

  • Toys in each room are age appropriate.

  • Groups run 1 1/2 hours long and childcare is arranged around the
    group schedule.

  • Children being cared for experience free play, story time, music time,
snack time and a project (only in the pre-school room).

  • If a child gets upset, the workers will do their best to calm them.
Please don't keep entering & exiting the room.  It upsets your childs
as well as the others.  The workers will bring your child to you if they
    can not calm them.

  • Please do not bring your child or a sibling to the center if he/she is
sick.  It keeps the others children and the workers from becoming
    sick.

  • Please call the coordinator to let them know your child will be out sick
    that day.

  • Please alert the childcare workers if your child has any allergies and
also place this information on the "All About Me" form.

  • Our goal is for everyone to have a positive experience during their
    time at the center.

  • When dropping off your child, keep all outerwear with you in case of
    emergency evacuations.
