MIDSHORE MOTHERS' CENTER, INC. Mothers Helping Mothers
Childcare Policies
Provide a safe, stimulating environment for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children.
Provide a quality childcare program, not just a babysitting service
There are always two workers in each room. Infant room is for children age 3 months to 18 months. The toddler room is for children age 18 months to 3 years. The pre-school room is for children 3 years and older.
Toys in each room are age appropriate.
Groups run 1 1/2 hours long and childcare is arranged around the group schedule.
Children being cared for experience free play, story time, music time, snack time and a project (only in the pre-school room).
If a child gets upset, the workers will do their best to calm them. Please don't keep entering & exiting the room. It upsets your childs as well as the others. The workers will bring your child to you if they can not calm them.
Please do not bring your child or a sibling to the center if he/she is sick. It keeps the others children and the workers from becoming sick.
Please call the coordinator to let them know your child will be out sick that day.
Please alert the childcare workers if your child has any allergies and also place this information on the "All About Me" form.
Our goal is for everyone to have a positive experience during their time at the center.
When dropping off your child, keep all outerwear with you in case of emergency evacuations.
